Mike Doolin has been my favorite builder for a long time. His innovation and creativity will be a great addition to the forum and he'll, no doubt, offer a fresh approach to the educational value that it has for both builders and players.

If you get a chance to play a Doolin guitar, you'll be amazed at it in every way....and if you get a chance to hear Mike play, you'll be just as amazed. He's very talented on both fronts.

Welcome to the OLF Mike. I look forward to hearing from you.

Regards,
Kevin Gallagher/Omega Guitars

Welcome Mike!
One of the good guys!

Mike held my head through my KTM learning curve.
With out his information on this lacquer im sure my first few guitars would NOT have turned out quite as nice as they did.

Mike, please dont be a stranger!

Yep, he would be on my short list of builders for when I hit the lottery. Can't wait 'till he starts posting.

What Kevin said....
I had the pleasure of playing a couple of his guitars at the first Newport show. They were spectacular.
When I hit the lottery....I'm getting one before Bill Greene!

Welcome Mike. Most of us have used some of your ideas at some point, you will be a great asset to this forum.

Oh yeah, don't mind Larry Presnall above, he suffers from perpetual jet lag.

Hi Mike!
The adjustable neck joint that I learned from Mike has been a great addition to my own guitars! Thanks Mike and welcome.

How soon they forget!    Mike has posted here before--even answered a couple of my questions. It's just been a while. Don't know why he had to re-register. Maybe HE forgot he'd been here before. Anyway, it's good to have you back, Mike.

To quote a fractured cliche: We'd all build like Mike....
If we could.

I've been able to spend time with one of his guitars as well. A great
experience.

Mike,

I know you've taken time out from your schedule to help quite a few luthiers, and luthier wannabees like me. I won't forget your help with my KTM-9 issues, even AFTER you had already moved on to another finish product. I also won't forget your encouragement with the experimental engineering concepts on my guitar. Thanks again, and welcome!
